| Field Camp - Things to bring | |||||||||||||||||||
| Field Trip to Big Bend National Park, Texas - Things to bring: Keep in mind that the weather in this part of Texas can be quite variable at this time of year. Days are generally pleasant but can vary from hot and dry to cold and damp. Nights are obviously much cooler and can often get well below freezing with windy conditions. Rain is certainly possible and snow is not unknown. Plan your clothes accordingly. It is a good idea to bring clothes that you can wear in layers and peel off or pt on as temperature or activity changes. In summary, bring: 1. Personal clothes - an overnight bag for easy access 2. Camping gear 3. Field gear 4. Other 5. Food |
