Alumni and Friends

Welcome home! Using only your trusty Brunton and your high-speed or dial-up internet hook-up, you've successfully navigated yourself to the UL Lafayette Geology Department's Alumni and Friends Page! Our goal is to help keep you, our alumni (and our friends), in touch with your colleagues and classmates, informed of UL Geology news, and aware of any special alumni activities (and even those unspecial department activities) that we may be having.

So who are we? Or rather who are "you"? The ULLGDAA (or the "UL Lafayette Geology Department Alumni Association" for long) is comprised of UL Geology Alumni, as well as current and former instructors. How do you join? Once you are part of our geofamily, you automatically become a member.

We would love to hear from you and publish a note from you in our next newsletter. We will make every effort to publish a newsletter each year around May. Please update us whenever you can. Send us a note (geology@louisiana.edu) letting us know your contact information, what you are are researching, where you are working, how your kids are doing, or whatever you like. Include a picture if you want. Plus, if you have any photos from old field trips, especially group photos, please send us copies for our alumni web page. Thanks!
